For Nov - Mar we recommend guests inquire before booking about weather and driveway condition (4WD or AWD are often recommended). Private getaway in the mountains of SW PA. 5 min from Ohiopyle and Fallingwater. Small home with a spacious deck and large open doors that make the indoor and outdoor space a single living area. Located in the heart of the Laurel Highlands. For those bringing pets, keep in mind there are some dogs that run in the neighborhood and also plenty of other wildlife.

Enjoy a morning hike on our mile long private hiking trail that will take you across a clear mountain stream, into the canopies of the mountain laurels and through a rock boulder field. Close to Fallingwater, Ohiopyle and Seven Springs. Pet friendly (up to 2) and beautiful hiking trails in our woods.

The KLAE House is perfectly situated within sight of the GAP Bike Trail and within walking distance to the Casselman River. Also, centrally located near Ohiopyle State Park, Seven Springs Mountain Resort, Yough Lake, Frank Lloyd Wright homes, and much more. This home has been completely renovated and designed with a unique vintage/modern style. The KLAE House is the perfect getaway for a quiet and peaceful stay surrounded by nature on your own private hillside.

If you do not need to rent it, you will still have access to the creek-side deck.
