In winter, spend the day with a warm wood stove. Firewood is available free of charge, mainly sawtooth oak and beech. We will carefully explain how to use the stove at check-in. Please use it with peace of mind. 　On the south side of the villa, you can spend a quiet time with a hammock and bench in the sawtooth oak forest. On the east side is a barbecue corner, a long garden, and a wooden deck. On the north side, there is a sawtooth oak forest and you can pick chestnuts in autumn. It is a one-building independent type, so you will not see others. Free parking is included. Parking is available right in front of the building where you are staying. Basically, everything is self-service. Amenities such as towels, shampoo, and toothbrushes are not included. It can accommodate up to 6 people, but it is intended for families, including children. It may feel cramped with six adults. Simple cooking utensils are included, but no condiments are included. BBQs and fires must be finished by 10 pm as per local rules. If you bring the appropriate tools, you can do it near the building you are staying in. If you want to use the BBQ building, you'll need to book it for an additional fee and check in by 5 pm. ２０２６年８月からゲストハウスの運営主体が変更になっています。サービス、ハウスルール等が若干異なりますのでリピーターの方はご注意ください。 江戸時代に建てられた２階建ての土蔵を改装し、ゲストハウスとしました。 広くはないですが、土壁や太い梁など土蔵の雰囲気を残しながら、１階にIHクッキングヒーター付きのキッチンを設置。１階、２階にエアコンを完備し、快適に過ごせます。土蔵ならではの遮音性や夏の涼しさ、冬の暖かさを体験いただけます。 車で5分ほどでサウナ施設、15分程度のところに姉川温泉、20分ほどで北近江の湯があります。 周辺はたびたび歴史の舞台となった長浜ならではの観光スポットが多くあります。 琵琶湖周辺のほか、日本最古の鉄道駅舎・長浜鉄道スクエアや子供も遊べるヤンマーミュージアム、黒壁スクエアなど歴史以外の楽しみもいっぱいです。 近江牛、鴨料理、焼鯖そうめん、のっぺいうどん、サラダパンや鴨、小鮎などグルメも楽しめます。
