n the heart of the Loire Valley, along the Thouet River: a 700 square foot converted barn (newly renovated) with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The house is ideally-situated in the heart of the Anjou wine region, a few miles from Saumur (well-known for it's castle and the French National Horse-Riding School, ''Le Cadre Noir'', wine growers, and troglodytes sites). Also nearby: important castles in Angers, Chinon, Montreuil-Bellay, Brézé, as well as Europe's largest monastic center, the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, which features an excellent music and cultural program. Other worthwhile day trips include the exquisite Loire Valley castles, such as: Chambord, Blois, Cheverny, Azay le Rideau, etc. The house, which is about 187 miles from Paris (300 km), or about 2 hours by TGV, can accomodate two couples with children (sleeps six altogether). The appartement includes : an entrance hall, a large sitting and dining room with a small equiped kitchen, one bedroom, a bathroom, and a small bedroom on a mezzanine level.

Along the Loire: massages, swimming pool and spa

Welcome! We will be happy to welcome you during your stay in the heart of the Loire Valley Regional Nature Park. Anjou is renowned for its mild climate but also for its unspoiled nature along the Loire, its vineyards, its castles, and its new casino… You will be staying in a small, renovated and comfortable barn (35 m2) with access to the garden with animals (pony, goat and chickens) as well as the swimming pool (in season, depending on the weather), the spa and the pétanque court.

Venez vous ressourcez à la campagne. C'est une ancienne grange rénovée en esprit loft, sans cloisonnement. Le logement est accolé à notre maison familiale. Vous pourrez profiter de la piscine intérieure du 20 mai au 30 septembre. Le logement est équipé d'un lit double à l'étage et d'un canapé lit dans le salon. Nous pouvons mettre à disposition 2 matelas pour coucher des enfants. Vous aurez un accès à la grange via un jardin privatif. Logement chauffé uniquement par poêle à bois !
