WAKUYA, a guest house in a renovated Showa-era kominka (old Japanese house) for rent as a whole unit

WAKUYA, a traditional Japanese-style guest house that retains the nostalgia of the Showa era, can be rented out as a whole. Please enjoy a relaxing private time with your family, including small children. It is conveniently located within walking distance of nearby tourist attractions such as Misaki Port, Urari Marche, Jogashima, Moroiso Lighthouse, and Moroiso Bay, as well as the Kaigai Fishing Port, which is also convenient for fishing, and for taking pictures of Mt. Fuji and the sunset. If you are coming by bus, it is located a 5-minute walk from the Misakiguchi Station to the Tenjinmachi bus stop. It's about a five-minute walk to the Lawson convenience store, so it's very convenient. The host is the owner and chef of Wakuya, a shop near the accommodation that sells handmade bento boxes and roast beef. Please feel free to ask about catering (available on weekdays). I can also recommend nearby restaurants. I am a certified SUP instructor. SUP experience lessons are also available with advance booking. We want to provide as much support as possible to ensure that guests have a pleasant trip, so please feel free to contact us.

[FOLKkoshigoe] Experience living in a 100-year-old house in Kamakura

The 100-year-old private house has been passed down through generations and time.First, let's lie down in the large 22.5 tatami mat living room. Then enjoy the sunlight filtering through the trees on the veranda that surrounds the house. For groceries, you can walk to “Super Yama-Ka,” which is an 8-minute walk away.By the way, there is no convenience store nearby. Above all, mornings are the best time to visit the waterfront area. If you get up a little earlier than usual, you don't have to take a shower, so go to the sea first.Walk barefoot on the beach. The feeling of sand on the soles of your feet, the warmth, and the slightly cold sea water will wake you up before you know it. On your way back, please come back from Koshigoe Station. At the station, there are seasonal origami creations made every month by the mothers of Koshigoe on display.

A somewhat nostalgic house by the sea

We remodeled this beachfront house ourselves. It is a 30-second walk to the beach and has a Showa-era feel. The name of the facility ”Hayamana" is a combination of Hayama (Hayama) and Mana (Soul). It's not luxurious by any means, but it has a nostalgic, soothing atmosphere. The property also has a stand-up paddle rental, and beginners can attend a school. The owner is a certified professional of the PSA (Professional SUP Association), so that you can fully enjoy the activities of the sea with peace of mind. There is also a surprisingly unknown trail entrance surrounded by the greenery of Hayama, 5 minutes away on foot. Conveniently located within walking distance to various restaurants, cafes, a supermarket, drug store, coin laundry, etc.
