You just have to pick and choose from experiences and trips or enjoy quiet days and the good life in the countryside.

Cozy 1850 Firehouse/Back House The cabin has been converted to an annex/small cabin where there is one room with a double bed. Dining nook inside. Outdoor kitchen with fridge, and gas hob. BBQ. Bathroom in the neighboring building. The duvet and pillow are in the cabin. Bed linen must be ordered separately for 150 per person. There is a short distance to the mountain, Tinnsjøen, bike rides and hikes in the nearby area. During summertime you can swim and fish in the river just below. The tourist commune offers varied experiences and activities for everyone.

The cabin is located by Tinnsjøen lake with parking right beside it. It is 6 kilometers from Mæl ferry rental in the direction of Atrå. It is 17 kilometres to Rjukan, 25 kilometres to Gaustatoppen mountain and beautiful mountain areas. Beautiful views, plenty of sun. There is no running water in the cabin, but water tap just outside. Free wood for the wood stove. When there's frost and freezing temperatures, there's no water in the tap outside. Water must be collected from the host. Rowing boat is available for free. A short distance to Snaufjellet, great hiking opportunities, fishing, swimming and cross-country skiing, in addition to mountain farm life at Håvardsrud and the cultural heritage at Rjukan, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Gaustablikk ski centre is 50 km from the cabin. The cabin is well suited for families and guests who want tranquility, nature, views and great experiences all year round.

The cabin is newly built in 2023, luxurious, fully equipped, with WiFi included. Bedding&towels can be rented for €20 per person.
