Cozy 1850 Firehouse/Back House The cabin has been converted to an annex/small cabin where there is one room with a double bed. Dining nook inside. Outdoor kitchen with fridge, and gas hob. BBQ. Bathroom in the neighboring building. The duvet and pillow are in the cabin. Bed linen must be ordered separately for 150 per person. There is a short distance to the mountain, Tinnsjøen, bike rides and hikes in the nearby area. During summertime you can swim and fish in the river just below. The tourist commune offers varied experiences and activities for everyone.

Idyllic spot by Tinnsjøen near Rjukan

The cabin is located by Tinnsjøen lake with parking right beside it. It is 6 kilometers from Mæl ferry rental in the direction of Atrå. It is 17 kilometres to Rjukan, 25 kilometres to Gaustatoppen mountain and beautiful mountain areas. Beautiful views, plenty of sun. There is no running water in the cabin, but water tap just outside. Free wood for the wood stove. When there's frost and freezing temperatures, there's no water in the tap outside. Water must be collected from the host. Rowing boat is available for free. Outboard motor 1-3 days NOK 400, -

Mountain cabin with amazing views in a quiet area

At 920 meters above sea level, you will have a fantastic view of Gaustatoppen, peaceful surroundings and very good sun conditions from morning to evening. A short distance to Snaufjellet, great hiking opportunities, fishing, swimming and cross-country skiing, in addition to mountain farm life at Håvardsrud and the cultural heritage at Rjukan, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Gaustablikk ski centre is 50 km from the cabin. The cabin is well suited for families and guests who want tranquility, nature, views and great experiences all year round.

The cabin is located at the foot of Hardangervidda 1030 masl. There is beautiful hiking terrain right outside the cabin door with endless opportunities for nature experiences for small children's feet to experienced mountaineers. Right behind the cabin wall there are cross-country ski trails that can take you far into Hardangervidda or around the nearby area. Uvdal alpine center is only 10 minutes away by car for speed-loving ski enthusiasts. At the same time, Dagali Mountain Park, Dagali experiences and Langedrag Nature Park offer exciting experiences.

Detached cabin

Relax with the family in this newly renovated and detached residence with beautiful views of the valley. Quiet and peaceful area close to nature. In the summer months you will be able to meet grazing sheep and lambs on the lush lands below the cabin - in winter the same area can be used for sledding, play and fun! Short distance to famous family attractions such as the Bear Park, Langedrag and Nesbyen Alpin. From the cabin you can easily get into the large network of bike trails Nesbyen has to offer.

Hallway, bathroom/toilet, living room with fireplace and kitchen, 3 bedrooms. Storage/laundry room, washing machine and dryer and toilet. TV with Apple TV/ Internet 100/100 via fiber/WiFi. Large terrace with nice dining area for 10 people, Weber charcoal grill and hot tub. In addition, there is a covered dining area with terrace heating at the entrance.

The cabin has amazing sun conditions throughout the day. The cabin is suitable for families. Modern cabin. Beautifully furnished living room and kitchen, 4 large bedrooms with large beds and 2 bathrooms with shower and toilet in both. Terrace with new great outdoor furniture and gas grill. Bed linen and towels can be rented.

Cosy little cabin

The cabin is very small, but quite comfortable. (Around 10 kvm) The bathroom is separate. Rustic interior. Most suitable for couples and good friends. If you need more space, take a look at the other cabin on our farm, (Cottage anno 1711) Sauna can be rented. 300NOK / 30 Euro per use. If you arrive by train or bus, we can pick you up at the station. For this we will charge 150 NOK / 15 Euro per way.
