A short distance to Snaufjellet, great hiking opportunities, fishing, swimming and cross-country skiing, in addition to mountain farm life at Håvardsrud and the cultural heritage at Rjukan, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Gaustablikk ski centre is 50 km from the cabin. The cabin is well suited for families and guests who want tranquility, nature, views and great experiences all year round.

The cabin is located at the foot of Hardangervidda 1030 masl. There is beautiful hiking terrain right outside the cabin door with endless opportunities for nature experiences for small children's feet to experienced mountaineers. Right behind the cabin wall there are cross-country ski trails that can take you far into Hardangervidda or around the nearby area. Uvdal alpine center is only 10 minutes away by car for speed-loving ski enthusiasts. At the same time, Dagali Mountain Park, Dagali experiences and Langedrag Nature Park offer exciting experiences.

The cabin was completed in Easter 2020 and is idyllically located in Midtre Fjellsnaret on the sunny side of Uvdal. The cabin is at over 1000 meters above sea level with panoramic views, sun all day, idyllic and undisturbed. Here at the foot of Hardangervidden there are countless opportunities for great nature experiences and fun activities for the whole family this summer. Cross-country ski trails with a large trail network right outside the door, and an alpine slope with lots of opportunities for all ages.

The cabin is perfect for two families, with two living rooms and four bedrooms it is spacious with room for 8 people. The cabin is really on the hill and has ski in and ski out, BOTH SKIING and CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING. After a long day on the slopes or in the cross-country track, it is lovely to end the day by sitting outside in the hot tub and inside in the sauna at the cabin. Or how about lighting a fire in the fire pit and watching the evening skiing?
